ELAF Academy provides a unique opportunity for the players in Egypt to learn and develop their American Football skills in a professional environment, in order to develop well rounded athletes that can contribute in one of the Egyptian League of American Football teams.
The Egyptian National Team of American Football has failed to qualify to the IFAF World Championships 2015 which is held in Stockholm after a loss against Morocco by 26-6 in the African Qualifiers, which was held in the German University in Cairo Stadium in December 13, 2014.

In July 15th, 2014 at its General Assembly in Kuwait, the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) has officially granted Egypt a full-membership. This recognition now opens the door to an Egyptian participation in 2015 World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden. The Egyptian National Team will host Morocco in Cairo for an African qualifying match in December 13, 2014 where the winner will be directly qualified to IFAF World Championships 2015.
The IFAF Congress 2014 concluded in 17 of April 2014, in Kuwait at the Holiday Inn Salmiya. Many issues pertaining to International Football were discussed. Chief among them is the inclusion of Qatar, Morocco, and Egypt as full members of IFAF as well as Kuwait’s Mishaal AlSabah retaining his title of IFAF Asia Vice Chair. Furthermore, Egypt’s Mo’men Naeem has achieved the title of IFAF Africa Vice Chair and Morocco’s Ahmed BenCadi has achieved the title of IFAF Africa Chairman and gained the right to be part of the IFAF executive committee.
Members of the Egyptian League of American Football were hosted in Kuwait by El-Sheikh Mishaal Fahad Al-Sabah – Vice Chair of IFAF Asia and KGFF’s Director of International affairs, in order to discuss Egypt’s application to join the International Federation of American Football and to discuss Egypt participation in the next World Cup ‘IFAF World Championships 2015’ in Stockholm 2015.
